A Timeless Souvenir Boutique Preserving Local Culture

EGOART's design for the Gifthub at Mira Place embraces a contemporary aesthetic, blending vibrant colors and sleek lines to create an inviting space that showcases unique Hong Kong-style souvenirs, encouraging guests to explore and celebrate local artistry.

We incorporated vintage tiles from the old times, harmonising with the backdrop of old Hong Kong. With the display wall matching the old trams, it forms an immersive atmosphere to visitors.

Tribute to the Old Hong Kong

At The Gifthub, we crafted more than a store; we built a portal. Stepping inside is a journey into the heart of Old Hong Kong, where the iconic red tram lines guide you past artful recreations of vintage bing sutt cafes and bustling street stall vignettes.

Every curated souvenir sits within this immersive streetscape, transforming a simple purchase into a tangible memory.

This design is an authentic love letter to the city, offering tourists not just a memento, but a meaningful fragment of Hong Kong’s soul to take home.

The storefront features an innovative display of meticulously crafted dioramas, each a self-contained capsule depicting iconic vignettes of Hong Kong’s heritage. From vintage tea cafés and family living spaces to traditional martial arts studios and lively game parlours.

In a creative act of adaptive reuse, our team seamlessly integrated these sculptural narratives into the existing structures from former tenants.

We were able to honour cultural legacy through thoughtful design, transforming a functional retail threshold into a poignant, gallery-like tribute to the city's living history.
