Opening nurturing doors where the community connects
Commissioned by Sun Hung Kai Properties, EGOART contributed to the renovation project at East Point City. As a flagship shopping mall in Tseung Kwan O town centre, it is the district's first large-scale mall. We were commissioned to redesign the bridge entrances to the mall, creating an engaging and welcoming atmosphere in the design, while balancing aesthetics and functionality in the redevelopment.
Deep Roots with Nature
The components of nature were deeply rooted in our designs. The entrances around the mall into the atrium are closely connected to the theme and are carried through the mall corridors, extending to the lavatories.
This gives shoppers a sense of natural serenity while cruising the mall, being in touch with nature.
Mood Board
Welcoming arms through the walkway
Our vision was to create a “Welcoming Nest” for the community. The glowing luminous rings act as a warm, embracing gesture, drawing shoppers inward. This portal establishes a nurturing tone from the first glance, seamlessly connecting to the mall's interior into a comfortable, gathering experience for the young families of the neighbourhood.
